Emma McLaughlin Commits to Fordham!

Batbusters Gomes is pleased to announce the commitment of 2019 Emma McLaughlin to Fordham University.  Emma verbally committed to Head Coach Bridget Orchard on July 26, 2017.  The Rams just won their fifth straight Atlantic-10 Conference Championship and are ranked #42 nationally.

When asked why she chose Fordham University, Emma remarked, “I absolutely fell in love with the coaching staff and the campus.  I felt like I have known Coach Orchard and Coach Luety forever- the culture and camaraderie they have built is a perfect fit for me.  Along with continuing at a Jesuit institution with so much history and tradition, I know that I will be competing for championships both on and off the field each year.  It is a dream come true to combine the opportunities of Fordham University with one of the greatest cities in the world in New York City.”

Emma, your family, coaches, teammates and the entire organization are proud of you and all of the hard work and sacrifice that has gone into this accomplishment.  We look forward to watching all of your future success.  Go Busters and Go Rams!
