Announcement of the Softball all-decade team. The squad consists of one player from each infield and outfield position, a utility player and three pitchers for a total of 12 players.
|A four-year starter, Solis played in 181 games over four seasons, including 177 starts…121 of those starts came behind the plate…a four-time all-Big Sky Conference selection, including second team as a senior and sophomore, and honorable mention as a junior and freshman…a career .303 hitter, she never hit lower than .286 and hit better than .300 each of the final three years…final numbers included a .303 batting average (149-for-491) with 36 doubles, 60 walks, 65 RBIs and a .409 on-base percentage…hit better than .300 against Big Sky opposition all four years, including .414 as a senior…among Sacramento State's Div. I career leaders, she ranks third in hit-by-pitches (30), fifth in walks and doubles, and six in on-base percentage…had hitting streaks of at least eight games long in three of her four seasons…tied the school record with four walks in the 2015 Big Sky Tournament opener against Weber State.||Finished four-year career with a 45-26 record to go with a 2.64 ERA and .207 opponents batting average…had 89 appearances, 84 starts, 51 complete games, 15 shutouts and 494 strikeouts in 478.0 innings pitched…reached double figures in wins in three of her four seasons…a two-time second team all-Pacific Region, two-time Big Sky Pitcher of the Year, two-time Big Sky all-tournament and three-time first team all-conference selection…also named the Sacramento State Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2014…set the conference record with 12 Big Sky pitcher of the week selections…became just the second Hornet pitcher in the Div. I era to garner all-region honors more than once…was 22-4 for her career vs. Big Sky opposition…among Sacramento State's Div. I career leaders, she ranks third in opponents batting average and strikeouts per 7 innings (7.23), fourth in wins and strikeouts, fifth in starts, sixth in shutouts, seventh in innings and eighth in complete games.|
