The Batbusters Gomes Clark Coaching Staff is pleased to announce the verbal commitment of 2020 Sencond Baseman Venessa Nguyen to Saint Mary’s College. Ms. Venessa committed to Coach Jessica Rodger on February 21, 2018. The Gaels play in the highly competitive D1 West Coast Conference.
When asked why she chose Saint Mary’s, Venessa stated “I chose Saint Mary’s College because the atmosphere and the environment of the school felt like home. The School was like a little community and once I stepped onto Campus, I knew this was was home. I 
loved the campus, and the FANTASTIC Coaching Staff and Players. It felt as if I was already part of the Family. When I was little, my family and I talked about Saint Mary’s College being one of the best Colleges and it was my dream to attend and play the sport I love there. The School itself is amazing with a great softball program, as well as a great program for my intended Major of study, Health Science. I couldn’t be happier because my dream finally came true!
